The examination and analysis of the content in women's student magazines from 1942 to 2019 demonstrate the extent, level, and quality of efforts to address the social demands of women in Iran. These student magazines portray the process of "raising women's social issues in Iran." Regardless of the diverse perspectives and thematic differences in these student magazines, each with its unique orientation, they all emphasise "women" and their "issues" as the primary focus, introducing women as integral members of society. In all these student magazines, women, rather than being presented as the "other half of society," assume various and sometimes contrasting roles as seen from the viewpoints of female student authors in women's student magazines in Iran (excerpted from pages 100-99 of the current book).
