GSI 100k Geological Maps of Iran is a digital collection of geological map sheets covering Iran at a scale of 1:100,000, published in Tehran by Sāzmān-i Zamīnʹshināsī va Iktishāfāt-i Maʻdanī-i Kishvar, Vizārat-i Ṣanāyiʻ va Maʻādin (GSI), the Geological Survey of Iran. A total of 436 sheets are available, published between 1966 and 2009 A.D. The maps provide detailed geological coverage and depict rock units, geological formations, structures, faults and other mapped geological features. Designed for reference and research use, the collection is particularly useful for scholars and professionals working in geology, earth sciences, mineral exploration, environmental studies and regional research. The maps are in Persian and English and supplied in digital PDF format for convenient consultation, comparison and archival research. Available as individual sheets or as a complete collection.
