Dīvān-i Mays̱amī Shahīdī

Dīvān-i Mays̱amī Shahīdī brings together the Persian poetry of Muḥammad Riz̤ā Mays̱amī Shahīdī, a poet associated with the literary milieu described as the maktab-i vuqūʻ or School of Occurrence. The collection presents his verse as part of the development of Persian lyric poetry in the early modern period, preserving a body of ghazals and related compositions that illuminate poetic language, imagery and conventions of love poetry.
