The Centre for the Great Islamic Encyclopaedia has undertaken the compilation of an encyclopaedia based on scientific methods and relying on the most reliable sources and latest information to meet the scientific needs of Islamic communities as much as possible. Although this encyclopaedia is specialised, due to its focus on the culture of the Islamic world, it covers a wide range of topics. This book is the first volume of "The Great Islamic Encyclopaedia" series, which begins with the entry "Āb" and concludes with the entry "Āl Dāvud."
