Hifdahumīn rūz presents a narrative account of the development of the missile industry in Īrān during the Iran-Iraq War. Authored by Fāṭimah ʻĀlamī and Muḥammad Ḥusayn Bārūnaqī, this work explores the challenges and achievements of young revolutionaries who sought to establish a deterrent capability in response to the bombardment of cities. The text details the seventeen-day period leading up to the country's first successful missile launch, highlighting themes of self-sufficiency and technological resilience under wartime conditions. Commissioned by the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the book draws upon interviews and historical records to reconstruct this pivotal moment in the military history of Īrān.
