Rijāl-i Fārs dar vāpasīn-i dawrah-i Qājār: Ḥukūmat-i Birītāniyā dar Hind, 1925

This resource is a Persian translation of a significant 1925 archival document originally produced by the British Government of India's General Staff. Titled *Rijāl-i Fārs dar vāpasīn-i dawrah-i Qājār*, it offers a rare window into the political and social fabric of southern Īrān during the final years of the Qājār dynasty. The text serves as a biographical dictionary ("Who's Who") covering 361 notables, including tribal leaders of the Qashqā’ī and Khamseh confederacies, local governors, and influential politicians in Fārs, Būshahr, and Shīrāz. Originally compiled to aid British military and consular operations in the region, these profiles provide detailed, albeit colonially focused, assessments of local power structures.
