The illustrated newspaper “Rūznāmah-i Shāhanshāhī” was established in Tehran under the management of “Mīrzā ‘Abd al-Ḥusayn Khān” nicknamed “Malik al-Muvarrikhīn” and was published with lithography in 1323 H.Q. The first issue of this newspaper was published on the 9th of Shawwāl. Each issue of the newspaper consists of four pages, and each page is cut to 12 x 5.6 inches, and one page of each issue is dedicated to printing pictures of important people and high-ranking people of the country and scientific articles, and also the history of scholars and elites. Rūznāmah-i Shāhanshāhī was published with the support and help of the government during the reign of Muẓaffar al-Dīn Shāh. The paper was purely scientific and for scientists.
