Kārnāmah va khāṭirāt-i Hāshimī Rafsanjānī (Sāl-i 1379): Iṣlāḥāt dar buḥrān

The memoirs of 1379 (2000-2001) provide a first-hand account of a tumultuous year for the reformist government and the sixth parliament, which was constantly embroiled in successive crises. Ayatollah Hashemi had more opportunity to record his memoirs as the head of the Expediency Discernment Council in 1379, and as a result, in addition to recording details, he also provided a relatively analytical perspective on his memories.
