Salām bar Ibrāhīm is a biographical and memorial work dedicated to Shahīd Ibrāhīm Hādī, one of the revered martyrs of the eight-year Iran–Iraq war. This book offers a collection of personal memories and narratives from his friends, relatives, and family, spanning from his childhood to his martyrdom. Born in 1336 Sh. near Meydān-i Khorāsān in Tehran, Ibrāhīm experienced the hardship of losing his father early in life. He worked in the Tehran bazaar while studying, earned a diploma in literature, and excelled in traditional Iranian sports and volleyball. After becoming more familiar with Islamic teachings, he volunteered for the frontlines and was deployed to Fakkeh during Operation Valfajr-e Moqaddamātī, where he and his unit resisted for five days. He disappeared on 22 Bahman 1361 and never returned. This book’s fragmented yet thematically unified anecdotes illuminate the noble character and spiritual strength of a selfless man whose life continues to inspire today’s youth as a guiding light in dark times.
