This collection presents a curated selection of archival documents tracing the foundation, organisation, and operation of the Bunyād-i Farhang-i Īrān, established by royal decree in 1343 (1964) under the directorship of Parvīz Nātil Khānlarī. Drawn from over four thousand surviving records, the assembled documents illuminate the institution constitution, administrative structure, research programmes, scholarship schemes, publishing activities, and financial affairs across two decades. They reveal the entanglement of scholarly ambition with the political symbolism of the Pahlavī court, the institution efforts to promote the Persian language abroad, and its cultural ties with Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and the wider region. Edited with scholarly apparatus and explanatory notes, this volume offers researchers a rare documentary window onto the cultural and intellectual life of late Pahlavī Īrān.
این مجموعه گزیدهای از اسناد آرشیوی را پیش روی خواننده میگذارد که فرایند تأسیس، سازماندهی و عملکرد بنیاد فرهنگ ایران را روایت میکند؛ نهادی که در سال ۱۳۴۳ به فرمان سلطنتی و با مدیریت دکتر پرویز ناتل خانلری بنیان نهاده شد. اسناد برگزیده از میان بیش از چهار هزار سند بازمانده، اساسنامه، ساختار اداری و چارت سازمانی، طرحهای پژوهشی و تحقیقاتی، بورسهای تحصیلی پژوهشگران ایرانی و خارجی، فعالیتهای انتشاراتی و امور آموزشی و مالی بنیاد را در گسترهای دو دههای بازمینمایانند. این اسناد پیوند ژرف آرمان علمی را با نمادگرایی سیاسی دربار پهلوی آشکار میسازند و کوششهای بنیاد را در ترویج زبان فارسی در سایر کشورها و پیوند فرهنگی با افغانستان، تاجیکستان، پاکستان و هند بازتاب میدهند. تدوینکنندگان بیآنکه داوری یا جانبداری کنند، تنها روایتی تاریخی از کارنامه این نهاد فرهنگی به دست دادهاند. این دفتر با همراهی یادداشتهای توضیحی، دریچهای کمنظیر به حیات فرهنگی و فکری ایران در واپسین سالهای دوره پهلوی میگشاید.
